Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and installing high-quality windows in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities
- Assemble window components accurately according to specifications and technical drawings
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during fabrication processes
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials using appropriate techniques to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading materials within the warehouse setting
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow
- Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or issues promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in a window or facade manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
- Practical knowledge of mechanical systems and assembly processes is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, chisels, etc.
- Experience using power tools like drills, saws, or sanders is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team setting
- Basic understanding of measurements and technical drawings is beneficial

Conditions of engagement
Duration of the project is until at least September 2027 with opportunities to extend
Pay rates are set at either £12.85 or £14.13 per hour depending on level of experience.
Workers starting at the lower rate can be raised to the higher level when a higher skill level is achieved.
Between 6 and 12 hours overtime is available weekly at time and a half
Holiday pay is paid at 28 days per year on an accrual basis.
Wages are paid weekly.
Pay: £12.85-£15.00 per hour
