We are looking for a suitably qualified (preferably full time) Nursery Practitioner in the High Peak area. For the right candidate, there is also the possibility of a more senior role.

This is an exciting opportunity for newly qualified or experienced practitioners motivated to be part of our caring team.
The successful candidate must hold, or be working towards, a relevant Level 2/3 Childcare qualification.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be expected to deliver childcare as part of a team and have the ability to work closely with other professionals. You will have great communication skills and be caring and empathetic.
You will also be a skilled practitioner, having good knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage. You should be able to deliver daily activities meeting young children's individual needs and plan next steps to support children's learning and development.
Our standard full time offer is 40 hours over 4 days, however other patterns and hours are available for discussion.

Key Responsibilities;
To provide physical and emotional care
To support the day to day running of the setting
To complete key children developmental records
To support colleagues and work as a team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children.
To assist in providing a range of stimulating and exciting activities for the children which encourage independence, motivation and an eagerness to learn
To work as part of the team to ensure that the EYFS framework is implemented and Ofsted standards are adhered to at all times.
To keep yourself informed and educated on new legislation and changes in childcare practices and attend any training as required.
To assist the management in developing positive working relationships with parents/carers and other external agencies.
