We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Area Leader to join our team. This role plays a key part in driving team performance, maintaining operational standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the production process.

Main responsibilities
- Support Team and Shift Leaders in the day-to-day running of the production line
- Coordinate team activities to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Manage raw materials from input through to finished product
- Drive improvements in production performance, scrap reduction, KPIs, and OEE
- Maintain high standards of communication across shifts and teams
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and quality procedures
- Provide cover for the Team Leader when required
- Promote a proactive, flexible, and continuous improvement culture
Key skills & experience
- Strong understanding of KPIs, KAIs, and their impact on production performance
- Proven ability to motivate and engage teams to improve performance and morale
- Solid knowledge of Health & Safety standards and compliance procedures
- Experience maintaining quality control (QC) throughout production processes
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
- IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) – desirable
- Leadership or team leader qualification (ILM or equivalent) – desirable
