We are looking for reliable, hardworking and professional drivers to join our growing team and represent both Scott & Ryan Logistics and DHL to a high standard.
As a DHL Service Partner Driver, you will be responsible for completing an allocated delivery route, safely handling and scanning parcels, providing excellent customer service and ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and on time. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who is organised, dependable and comfortable working independently.

Driver Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with the appropriate entitlement for the vehicle.
- Minimum 5 year of driving experience preferred.
- Previous courier, delivery or multi-drop experience preferred.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent timekeeping.
- Professional, presentable and polite manner.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and manage a delivery route efficiently.
- Physically fit and able to load, unload and handle parcels safely.
- Good knowledge of road safety and responsible driving.
- Able to use a smartphone and delivery/scanning technology.
- Comfortable working to strict delivery schedules and performance targets.
- Must follow DHL and Scott & Ryan Logistics procedures and health & safety requirements.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of a professional team.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport parcels across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load and unload packages with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring accurate delivery of items
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and team members to confirm delivery details or address any issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, pickups, and mileage for tracking purposes
- Assist in warehouse activities as needed, including sorting parcels and preparing shipments for delivery
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on safe driving practices
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus
- Experience operating <PERSON> drivers or similar commercial vehicles
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged periods of walking or standing
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding parcel handling procedures
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and navigation tools to ensure efficient route planning
