The Roles:
Teaching Fellow in Nursing (Adult)

To work with colleagues and act as a team member to contribute to the delivery and design of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, responding to students’ needs as a member of a teaching team.
- To participate in, and initiate, teaching and scholarship in accordance with the School/Faculty objectives.
- To actively seek to engage with the student experience and enhance student employability and enterprise opportunities.
- To support the School in its marketing, outreach and widening participation activities.
Senior Teaching Fellow in Nursing (Adult)

To work with colleagues and act as Module Coordinator (or equivalent), contributing to the delivery and design of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and responding to students’ needs as a member of a teaching team.
- To participate in and initiate teaching in accordance with the School and Faculty objectives.
- To actively seek to engage with the student experience and enhance student employability and enterprise opportunities.
- To support the School in its marketing, outreach and widening participation activities.
- To lead a key area of School activity, such as Course Leadership or an equivalent academic or administrative role.
Hybrid working arrangements can be discussed locally. However, successful candidates will be required to work on campus during their induction period. We welcome conversations regarding preferred working patterns.
The micro-teach and interviews are currently scheduled to take place on Thursday 20 August 2026.
We have the following positions available:

A total of 1.2 FTE working a variety of hours, on a 2 year fixed term contract
- A total of 0.5 FTE working a variety of hours, on a 1 year fixed term contract

Salary Information:
New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency and transparency in our pay structures. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
