Roadside Technician / Recovery Driver – Coventry (4 on 4 off)

Beeches Recovery is looking for reliable and hardworking Roadside Technicians / Recovery Drivers to join our growing team, based from our Coventry depot.
This is a varied, hands-on role attending roadside breakdowns and accidents, recovering vehicles safely and transporting them to their destination. No two days are the same.
You'll be dealing directly with customers, so a professional, friendly approach and good communication skills are essential.
What you'll be doing
- Attending roadside breakdowns and accidents.
- Recovering and transporting vehicles safely.
- Carrying out basic roadside assistance where appropriate.
- Delivering excellent customer service.
- Working as part of a busy, supportive team.
What we're looking for
- Full UK driving licence (minimum requirement).
- Basic mechanical knowledge (jump starts, wheel changes etc.).
- Reliable, hardworking and flexible.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Full training provided
Previous recovery experience is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Shift Pattern
- Four on, four off.
- 07:00–19:00.
- As part of the roadside recovery industry, flexibility is essential. Occasionally, shifts may extend beyond the scheduled finish time to complete an outstanding recovery safely.
Pay
- £29,000 – £34,000 OTE - the upper end of the band reflects regular overtime opportunities and additional hours.
