COMMERCIAL FINANCE ANALYST
£50,000 - £55,000 per annum

We’re looking for a commercially minded Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Finance team at Arcade.
Based at our Support Office at 180 The Strand, with regular visits to our restaurants, you’ll work closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and operational teams across the business to turn financial data into clear, useful commercial insight.
This is a hands-on, business-facing role for someone who enjoys getting underneath the numbers, spotting trends and opportunities, and helping teams make better commercial decisions.

What you’ll be doing:
- Producing daily, weekly and monthly trading reports
- Analysing sales, covers, spend per head, margins, labour and overhead costs
- Preparing site and group performance dashboards
- Identifying commercial trends, risks and opportunities across the business
- Producing variance analysis against budget, forecast and previous year
- Supporting annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Building financial models for new initiatives and business opportunities
- Working with General Managers and Operations teams to explain financial performance clearly
- Supporting menu engineering, pricing reviews and promotional analysis
- Improving reporting and automation through Excel and Power BI
- Supporting new site openings, investment appraisals and wider finance projects
What experience you will have:
- 2–4 years’ experience within commercial finance, FP&A or financial analysis
- Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or qualified by experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Experience presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Confidence working closely with operational teams and challenging assumptions where needed
- A proactive, commercially minded approach and strong attention to detail
Experience within the hospitality sector is essential and previous exposure to Power BI, ERP or POS reporting systems would be advantageous.
