Overview:
CPS Football Academy is one of the North West's leading technical football development Academies, delivering high-quality coaching to players aged 3–15 across multiple venues in Bolton.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious coach to join our coaching team. This role offers a clear progression pathway towards a future Lead Coach position for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about player development, takes pride in delivering high standards, and wants to be part of a professional coaching environment focused on continuous improvement.
Hours
This is currently an evening-based coaching position, with opportunities for additional hours through camps, events and future academy growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality football coaching sessions.
- Support player development and engagement.
- Help maintain CPS coaching standards across sessions.
- Support and mentor newer coaches where appropriate.
- Lead groups independently when required.
- Assist with parent communication and player feedback.
- Contribute positively to the culture and environment of the academy.
- Support the Lead Coach with session delivery and organisation.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience coaching youth football players.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable, professional and enthusiastic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a coaching team.
- Passion for developing young players.
Desirable:
- UEFA C Licence.
- Experience working within an academy or player development environment.
- Experience leading groups independently.
- Ambition to progress into leadership roles within coaching.
