Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and professional Nail and Beauty Technician to join our vibrant beauty salon in the Shopping centre in Salendine nook. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for enhancing clients' appearance and confidence through expert nail and beauty treatments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in a friendly environment, providing personalised services that meet clients’ individual needs. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality beauty treatments, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within the salon.
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and acrylics with precision and care.
- Deliver beauty services such as makeup application, skincare advice, and other specialised treatments as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client preferences and offering professional recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to ensure clients receive modern and effective treatments.
- Schedule appointments efficiently whilst managing client records accurately.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business through personalised care and attention.
- Promote salon services and products to maximise client satisfaction and business growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or Beauty Therapist with relevant qualifications.
- Skills in makeup application along with a comprehensive understanding of current beauty trends.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and aftercare advice to clients.
- A friendly, professional demeanour with a genuine passion for the beauty industry.
- Ability to work independently whilst also being a team player within the salon environment.
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Flexibility to work during salon hours, including weekends if required.
