Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Van Driver to join our team during a night operation following a fixed route from Hamilton to Inverness Monday to Friday
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys driving, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
A Valid FLT Licence is ESSENTIAL
You will be responsible for safely transporting goods, unloading and loading at our Customers Site
Your dedication will help us meet our customers’ needs efficiently while upholding safety standards and professionalism.
Duties
- Safely operate a van to deliver goods to a single location during night hours, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload items with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring all packages are handled securely.
- Follow site safety rules at all times
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
- Valid Driving license with 3.5T entitlement
- Valid FLT License
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory handling and storage procedures.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for night-time driving.
Pay: £14.25-£16.25 per hour
