Job Description
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Account Manager to join our busy sales team.
You will be responsible for managing and developing an allocated customer base, building long-term relationships, generating repeat business and identifying new sales opportunities. You will become the main point of contact for your customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service from quotation through to delivery and aftersales support.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional and friendly manner, strong organisational abilities and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service. They will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities
- Managing an allocated sales region and developing existing customer accounts.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with customers through regular communication by telephone, email and online meetings.
- Acting as the first point of contact for allocated customer accounts, providing quotations, product advice and order support.
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Chasing outstanding quotations and identifying opportunities to convert enquiries into sales.
- Promoting Printvision's full range of products and services to maximise sales opportunities.
- Sending quotations, order confirmations and all relevant customer documentation.
- Keeping customers informed of new products, promotions, pricing updates and marketing material.
- Maintaining accurate customer records within the CRM system.
- Ensuring new customers are added to relevant marketing databases where appropriate.
- Chasing outstanding artwork and liaising with customers to keep orders progressing.
- Working closely with the Accounts team regarding pro-forma invoices and payment queries.
- Liaising with Production, Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure orders are delivered successfully.
- Managing customer aftersales enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Supporting the management of the online live chat facility.
- Following up warm leads generated through the company website and telephone enquiries.
- Identifying and generating new business opportunities through proactive sales activity, including cold calling where required.
- Supporting the Head of Sales and senior management with additional projects and sales initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Previous experience in an Account Manager, Sales Executive or customer-facing sales role is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous.
- A team player who is willing to support colleagues when required.
- Professional, courteous and customer-focused at all times.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Salary
Starting from £27,000 per annum
