Summary
As our Parts Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our inventory and supply chain, keeping both our workshop running seamlessly. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a background in automotive parts who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Quoting: Liaise with technicians and suppliers to quickly source and quote part costs for the workshop.
- Inventory Control: Perform regular stock checks across the stores and site to ensure maximum service efficiency.
- Data Management: Log inbound stock against active jobs or purchase orders, and efficiently manage the returns process.
- Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with external suppliers to ensure we consistently purchase parts at the best possible price.
What You Bring to the Table
- Mechanical Knowledge: Previous parts department experience and a strong understanding of vehicle components is essential.
- Computer Literate: Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with strong data entry skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Work Ethic: Highly organised with the ability to routinely inspect stores and workshop for consumable orders
- Detail-Oriented: An eagle eye for administrative parts processing from verifying agreed costs to stock management
Other aspects of the workplace will be learnt in order to understand the business as a whole and to assist in other areas if required. A team player is desired.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 0800-1730 & every other Saturday 0800-1300.
Rate of pay negotiable based on experience & what the candidate can bring to the role/company.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
