Are you a finance professional looking for a development opportunity that offers broad exposure across a wide range of local government finance activities?
Bassetlaw District Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to support the delivery of a comprehensive, high-quality finance service during an important period for local government. This opportunity is open to colleagues from Councils who are part of our Nottinghamshire Local Government Reorganisation programme.
Working in a district council environment provides a unique opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of finance responsibilities. The successful applicant will support both strategic and operational finance activity, gaining valuable insight into the breadth and complexity of financial management in a district setting.

This would be an excellent opportunity for a CCAB/CIMA qualified finance professional, or someone with strong relevant local government finance experience, who is looking to broaden their skills, gain experience in a different local authority setting and contribute to wider public sector collaboration during LGR.
