Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
- Support with administrative tasks such as stock control and ordering supplies.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols, including infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing concerns and providing reassurance throughout their visit.
- Support the team with general clinic organisation to optimise workflow and patient experience.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices relevant to dental care.
- Proficiency in IT systems used for record keeping and appointment management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in dental nursing.
