A opportunity has arisen to join our small friendly team, to help ensure the children have a happy and safe lunchtime, here at Barford Primary School. We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and has good time-keeping skills.
- Can work flexibly and effectively as part of our small lunchtime team.
- Is proactive and can use their own initiative.
- Has a calm, caring and consistent approach and enjoys working with children.
- Can provide supervision and support to ensure that children play safely and productively.
- Promote a good atmosphere in the dining hall and encourage good eating habits, assisting younger children where necessary
- Will help in the dining area as necessary, including serving dinners, cleaning the hall and putting away tables/chairs.
- offer first aid and health needs support (training provided)
Working Hours
The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday, 12.15-1.15pm (possibly until 1.30pm).
Closing Date Friday 3rd July, with interviews TBA.

This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list. If you have information to declare it may be protected under the Exceptions Orders and you may not be required to declare it. You will be asked to make a criminal conviction declaration if you are shortlisted for the post. Pay: £12.85 per hour
