As a Lings Powersports Caretaker / Maintenance Man you will be welcomed into our family owned and managed team. The successful candidate will be required to carry out routine maintenance at our five dealerships across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Suitable candidates must have great attention to detail, be self-motivated to be part of our highly successful team and have great time management and also be competent working alone.
This position will guarantee a minimum 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the job, daily working hours may differ to that of the company's branch opening hours of 8:30am to 17:30pm. Any additional hours will be paid at the hourly rate. A company van will be provided.
The Lings Powersports has five motorcycle dealerships based in Harleston, Norwich, Watton, Ipswich and Dunmow and supplies many top-valued brands which are consistently high ranked among the world, including Triumph, Honda, Husqvarna and Gas Gas, we also have a huge selection of other franchised used motorcycle stock within our group.
The ideal candidate will:
- Keep the dealership in a clean and tidy state making sure franchise standards are met.
- Be able to carry out minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Carry out repairs to a high standard including decoration.
- Maintenance of Car Park and Site including grass cutting.
- Provide Handyman services to the company owner.
- Have their own tools to carry out work
- Be a good communicator and have great interaction skills.
- You must be highly motivated and have a determination to succeed.
- You must be well organised and be able to manage your time.
- You must hold a valid full UK driving licence.
- To be flexible regarding working hours
Pay: From £14.42 per hour
