Weekend Housekeeper / Pub Cleaner

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and friendly Weekend Housekeeper / Pub Cleaner to join our team at The Merry Harriers in Hambledon.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, tidy and welcoming, and enjoys working as part of a friendly team in a busy village pub.
The role
The role will involve keeping our pub and accommodation areas clean, fresh and presentable throughout the weekend. Duties will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining guest bedrooms and bathrooms
- Changing bed linen and preparing rooms for guests
- Cleaning public areas, including the bar, dining areas and toilets
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting
- Keeping cleaning cupboards and supplies organised
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the pub
- Helping with general cleaning tasks as required
- Working efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Friendly and approachable
- Naturally clean and organised
- Able to work independently and manage their time
- Comfortable working in a busy pub environment
- Someone who takes pride in doing a job properly
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential – the right attitude is more important
Working hours
The role is primarily weekend-based, with hours to be discussed depending on availability. There may also be opportunities for additional hours during busy periods and holidays.
