About the role
As a Bank Care Assistant, you'll provide hands-on care and support to our residents, helping them to live with comfort, dignity and independence. Whether you're covering a single shift or working regularly, you'll be a valued and important part of our team from day one.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities, always promoting dignity and independence
- Contributing to the delivery of individual, person-centred care plans
- Communicating warmly and professionally with residents, families and colleagues
- Working flexibly to meet the varying needs of residents throughout your shift
- Collaborating as part of a close-knit, supportive care team
- Working in accordance with the home's policies, procedures and care philosophy
What we're looking for
- A genuine compassion for and interest in caring for others
- A warm, reliable and professional approach
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant is desirable, but not essential, as we will provide full training and support you in gaining a Diploma in Health and Social Care
- Availability for day and/or night shifts on a flexible bank basis
