Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the children's home.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and all relevant legislation.
- Inspire, develop, and support a high-performing care team.
- Promote a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to care.
- Drive outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
- Prepare for and maintain high standards during Ofsted inspections.
- Foster a culture of safeguarding, continuous improvement, and excellence.
Essential Requirements
Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential setting.
Strong knowledge of:
- Children's Homes Regulations
- Quality Standards
- Ofsted inspection framework
- Relevant safeguarding legislation
NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete).
