Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house activities, including serving guests and managing reservations
- Lead, motivate, and manage restaurant staff, including training new team members and scheduling shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Monitor daily operations to optimise efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production, menu presentation, and special event planning
- Manage stock levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example and foster a positive work environment
- Excellent organisational skills combined with leadership qualities to manage busy service periods effectively
