The Role: Night Kitchen Porter
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Kitchen Porter to join our team at Isabel Mayfair.
Working overnight, you will play a vital role in ensuring the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned, organised and fully prepared for the next day's service. This is a physically active role requiring excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of the wider kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out deep cleaning of all kitchen areas to the highest hygiene standards.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, workstations, floors, walls and storage areas.
- Wash and correctly store crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed.
- Complete all daily, weekly and scheduled cleaning tasks.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment at all times.
- Ensure Company standards and food safety procedures are consistently followed.
- Comply with all Health & Safety and Fire Safety regulations.
What We're Looking For
- A strong work ethic with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Ability to work night shifts on a regular basis.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in hospitality is beneficial but not essential.
- A willingness to learn and develop within a professional kitchen environment.
