A highly regarded early years setting in Chesterfield is continuing to grow following its expansion. We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join the team and help create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where every child is supported to learn, develop and thrive.
Pay and hours:
· £13.75 per hour
· Full hours available
Key responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
· Support children's learning, development and emotional wellbeing through play, routine and positive interaction.
· Observe and record children's progress, contributing to individual learning plans and clear updates for parents and carers.
· Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment while following safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures.
· Work closely with colleagues and build warm, professional relationships with children and their families.
What we're looking for:
· A Level 2 or 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification is preferred.
· Previous experience working within an early years, nursery or childcare setting.
· A caring, reliable and proactive approach, with genuine enthusiasm for helping children develop.
· Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
· Willingness to complete the required training and checks, including paediatric first aid and an enhanced DBS check.
