We are recruiting for a skilled CNC Turning Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing business. The role will start on day shift during training, with the opportunity to move onto nights once fully trained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC turning machines in a production environment
- Carrying out tool changes and offset adjustments
- Monitoring machine performance and maintaining quality standards
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Using measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turning Machinist
- Confident in setting and operating CNC turning machines
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Shift Pattern & Overtime:
- Day shift during training period
- Opportunity to move onto night shifts once fully trained
- Overtime available
- Overtime and night work paid at 1.5x standard rate

Working Hours
Mon–Thurs: 07:00–15:30 (30-minute lunch)
Friday: 07:00–12:00 (no break – early finish each week)
Total: 37.5 hours
Working hours are 07:00 - 15:30 Monday to Thursday with 1pm finish on a Friday
