We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. This role will support the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of the business. This role is essential to ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, timely processing of transactions, and maintaining effective financial controls within our retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice processing and filing
- Reconciliation of Supplier statements
- Company Credit Card management and reconciliation
- Management of the accounts@ inbox, monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
- Assisting with the preparation of Wholesale Statements and chasing debt.
- Process staff expenses and petty cash
- Processing of payment run to suppliers and subsequently payment allocation.
- Help with general finance tasks and supporting the wider team and office where needed

Skills/Experience required
- Accounts Payable experience
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with POS systems and eCommerce platforms
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- AAT Level 2 or equivalent experience desirable
