Duties
- Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative slot game ideas that captivate players and enhance user engagement.
- Create detailed game prototypes, including mechanics, themes, bonus features, and payout structures.
- Collaborate with artists using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, 3ds Max, and SketchUp to develop compelling visual assets and animations.
- Implement game logic using programming languages such as C#, C++, JavaScript, Python, and integrate SDKs via APIs for seamless functionality across platforms like Android and iOS.
- Work closely with developers utilizing tools like Visual Studio, GitHub, SVN, Perforce, and Trello to ensure smooth development workflows.
- Conduct thorough testing by creating test cases and debugging using tools like Unreal Engine, Unity, and Maya to guarantee high-quality releases.
- Optimize games for various devices and operating systems by applying front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, React, MVC frameworks, and responsive design principles.
- Use relational databases such as MySQL and SQL Server to manage game data efficiently.
- Participate in Agile methodologies like Scrum to facilitate iterative development cycles and continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in software development or game design within the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages including C#, C++, JavaScript, Python, PHP, Shell Scripting, and Java.
- Hands-on experience with game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine for developing interactive slot games.
- Familiarity with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), SDKs (Software Development Kits), RESTful services, SOAP protocols for integrating third-party services.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles to craft intuitive interfaces that enhance player experience across mobile (Android/iOS) platforms.
- Experience working with relational databases like MySQL or SQL Server for data management.
- Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite tools, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects for designing engaging graphics and animations.
- Comfortable working within version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, Perforce to manage code repositories effectively.
- Ability to work within collaborative environments using project management tools like Jira or Trello under Scrum methodologies.
