About the Role
As a Commis Chef, you’ll play a leading role in the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes for our guests. You’ll ensure food is cooked to an excellent standard while maintaining food safety and hygiene requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- To prepare food to the highest standard for our guests
- Maintain excellent food quality and consistency, following company service style and food delivery procedures.
- To adhere to all food and hygiene safety requirements at all times.
- Ensure food storage, preparation, and service meet temperature guidelines.
- Ensure all checklists and food safety records are completed correctly and accurately.
- Assist in keeping the Kitchen and all food handling areas clean as per the food safety handbook.

Education, Training, and Experience
- Previous experience in a chef or kitchen role preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and stock handling procedures.
- Minimum level 2 food hygiene (training can be provided).
Disposition and Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of Work
30 hours per week. Will include evenings, weekends/school holidays and bank holidays.
