Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts accurately according to specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and structural components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to ensure precise fabrication
- Measure materials using basic math skills to verify dimensions and tolerances before welding or assembly
- Conduct quality checks on completed welds and fabricated parts to meet safety standards and project requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist in the setup and disassembly of fabrication stations as needed for various projects
Qualifications
- Proven experience with TIG welding, welding techniques, and general fabrication processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and metal properties
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal working equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and perform basic math calculations for measurements
- Knowledge of assembly procedures for metal structures or components
- Familiarity with safety standards related to welding and fabrication environments
- Prior experience working with sheet metal is preferred but not required
