Are you an experienced vehicle estimator who takes pride in doing things properly?
We’re looking for an organised, confident, customer-focused Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator to join our established accident repair centre in Stafford.
This is not a high-volume “quick fix” bodyshop.
At Bodymatters, we focus on correct repairs, high in standards, attention to detail, and excellent customer care.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for front-end estimating, customer interaction, and helping manage repairs from estimate through to authorisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing vehicle repair estimates using Audatex and GT Motive
- Inspecting damaged vehicles and assessing repair methods
- Managing customer enquiries and bookings
- Liaising with insurers and engineers
- Capturing vehicle images and supporting documentation
- Assisting with supplements and repair progression
- Helping maintain smooth workshop loading and workflow
- Providing excellent customer service throughout the repair process
Technical oversight and additional estimating support are available where required. We work as a team and don’t believe in leaving people to struggle on their own.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for somebody who:
- Has experience within the accident repair industry
- Is confident using Audatex and/or GT Motive
- Understands repair methods and insurer processes
- Is organised and able to manage workload effectively
- Communicates professionally with customers and insurers
- Has strong attention to detail
- Takes pride in doing things properly
Experience with ADAS systems, calibrations, or manufacturer repair methods would be an advantage but is not essential.
