The Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual to join our team. This role requires someone who has a high standard of work and attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently using their own initiative. Flexibility, multitasking, and good timekeeping are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Book in goods received using stock control & management software system (full training will be given).
- Dispatch sales orders using the software system to create delivery notes.
- Arrange dispatch within the UK and overseas using various external couriers.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails.
- Communicate professionally with suppliers, couriers, and overseas customers using Microsoft Outlook.
- Produce commercial invoices for exports.
- Do stock adjustments within software system.
- Input data produced from two main stock takes per year.
- Assist with data entry and data collection within software system.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure records and documentation are organised, up to date, and securely stored.
- Marketing administration, including uploading newsletters (currently using Brevo), and website updates – full training will be given.
- Amend documents using Adobe Illustrator.
- Produce monthly sales and marketing analytics.
- Produce monthly slow moving stock report.
- Carry out other administrative duties as reasonably required to support the effective operation of the organisation.
- Deputy Fire Marshall duties, including routine testing of alarms and reporting.
Other Responsibilities (holiday cover):
- Pick and locate specialist products to meet customer requirements.
- Assemble components as required to produce finished products that meet established quality control standards and specifications.
- Package goods securely and label for dispatch
- Help to load and unload heavy or awkward items.
- Assist with stock control and ordering of stock and incidental items via software system.
- Check the quality of goods received.
- Assist in organising product display boards in the display vehicle and office showroom.
- Order, monitor, and maintain office supplies and equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Experience using software systems is preferred; full training will be provided.
- Digital Marketing and Social Media knowledge would be advantageous.

Hours of work
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00–17:00 (one 1-hour unpaid lunch, three 30-minute unpaid lunches)
- Friday: 08:00–15:00 (30-minute unpaid lunch)
