Duties
- Assist children with their breakfast routines, encouraging healthy eating habits and good manners
- Supervise children during breakfast time, ensuring safety and well-being at all times
- Support children in social interactions, fostering inclusive play and positive relationships
- Maintain a clean and organised breakfast area, adhering to hygiene standards
- Engage children with age-appropriate activities that promote social skills and early learning
- Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth transition from breakfast to playroom activities
- Support with basic administrative tasks related to meal logging or activity preparation as needed
Experience
- Previous experience working with young children in roles such as nannying, babysitting, teaching assistant, or childcare worker is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills in English
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and enthusiasm when working with children
- Familiarity with child development principles and health & safety standards in early years settings
- Experience in fostering inclusive environments that support both individual needs and group dynamics
