We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mastic Man/Woman to join our construction team. This role involves applying mastic and sealants to various surfaces, ensuring the integrity and durability of building structures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction-related trades, with experience in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, and other relevant skills. Duties
- Applying mastic, sealants, and adhesives to surfaces such as roofs, walls, and joints to prevent leaks and improve insulation
- Assisting with roofing installations and repairs using appropriate materials and techniques
- Supporting plumbing tasks by sealing pipes and fixtures with suitable compounds
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Performing masonry work including patching, sealing, and finishing surfaces
- Assisting with carpentry tasks related to construction projects
- Interpreting schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise application of materials
- Participating in construction painting and finishing activities as required
- Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and project specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction trades such as roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, masonry, or carpentry
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and plastering is desirable
- Experience working with construction materials including sealants, adhesives, and sealants application methods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
- Previous experience in fabrication or working with schematics is advantageous
