We are currently looking for a hard-working, passionate and experienced F&B staff for the Salthouse to join our ever-growing team from the hotel to the Lookout. The successful candidate will have a wide range of duties, including, customer service, menu and drinks knowledge and practical tasks. Their main function will be to ensure that they serve the bar and restaurant efficiently and that the customer has the best possible experience.
Their main duties and responsibilities include:
- Polishing cutlery and glasses, and setting tables
- Providing guests with menus and taking their food & drinks order
- Informing guests of menu recommendations and specials and taking their food order
- Serving food and drink orders in a timely manner and clearing tables
- Checking if guests are satisfied on a regular basis
- Ensuring that guests bills are correct and handling payment
- Effectively dealing with any guest concerns and involving management when necessary
- Tidying and cleaning public and back-of-house areas after closing time
- Evening and weekend work required
This is a hands-on role; the applicant should have a great passion for delivering the highest level of customer service, keen attention to detail and be able to prioritize tasks.
