CNC Machinist

You'll be at the heart of creating components, programming, setting and operating CNC Machines, prepping, maintaining tools, and keeping everything on track to meet deadlines. Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday – Friday 07:30am – 4pm
Hourly Rate: Up to £20.00 Per Hour (Flexible)

Duties to Include:
· Set, operate and programme CNC wood machines – Operating 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.
· Manual handling will be involved as you will need to move stock around the factory shop floor.
· Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
· Select, set up and adjust tooling and work holding fixtures.
· Monitor machine performance and make offsets or programme edits as required
· Maintain high standards of quality and production efficiency
Skills/Experience Required:
· Proven experience operating CNC machines.
· Physically capable of manual handling duties within a factory environment
· Strong understanding of machining principles.
· Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
· Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
· A positive approach with good communication and teamwork skills
