About the role
As we prepare to open our doors, we are seeking a talented and driven Dispensing Optician Assistant Manager to help lead the retail side of the business.
This is a rare opportunity to join a brand new boutique that values your expertise, offering the chance to work with premium eyewear brands and the latest technology in a high-end, design-led space.
You will play a key role in shaping Peek And Co. from the ground up, setting standards, building a loyal client base, and delivering an exceptional in-store experience.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day retail operations of the store, ensuring a smooth and efficient service
- Provide expert dispensing services, guiding clients on frame selection, lenses, and styling to suit their individual needs
- Manage stock levels, process orders, and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Contribute to key business decisions, including product selection, marketing activity, and local initiatives
- Deliver the brand’s exceptional in-store experience

Requirements
- GOC Registered Dispensing Optician
- Previous experience in an independent practice is essential
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a small team
- Commercial awareness and confidence to contribute to business development
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
