Overview
We are seeking for a dynamic and experienced Retail Supervisor/Senior Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for retail management. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
There is a 16 and a 20 Hours Part time position.
You will be in charge of the store when the Manager is not in.
Duties
- Supervise and support retail staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage daily operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and sales management.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and meet targets.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback.
- Maintain an organised store layout that enhances the shopping experience for customers.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll processing, and reporting.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while promoting a culture of teamwork.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective customer interaction.
- Proficient in time management and organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Administrative experience with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
