Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cook/Customer Service professional to join our team. This role combines culinary skills with excellent customer service, ensuring our guests enjoy high-quality meals and a welcoming atmosphere. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and providing friendly service in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary expertise whilst delivering outstanding customer care.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist with meal preparation and presentation to meet quality expectations
- Serve customers efficiently, taking orders and providing friendly assistance
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during service hours
- Engage with customers in a courteous manner, addressing any enquiries or special dietary requirements
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to create a safe working environment for all staff and customers
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, or holidays as required
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and customer service excellence

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
