Bliss Beds is looking for an ambitious, sales-driven Store Manager to take responsibility for our Aberdeen store.
We are an independent, growing Scottish retailer specialising in beds, mattresses, sofas and furniture.
We're not looking for someone who simply wants to open the doors, organise the rota and maintain the store.
We want someone who can sell, lead from the front and grow the business.
The Role
You'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and sales performance of the Aberdeen store, including:
- Driving store sales and achieving monthly targets
- Personally selling and leading the team by example
- Coaching, motivating and developing the sales team
- Creating a positive, target-driven sales environment
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Managing staff performance, attendance and standards
- Organising effective staff rotas
- Maintaining excellent showroom presentation
- Managing pricing, promotions and product displays
- Dealing professionally with customer enquiries and issues
- Identifying opportunities to increase footfall and sales
- Reporting store performance directly to the owners
- Taking genuine ownership of the store's results
Salary & Bonus
Basic Salary: £28,000
Plus an uncapped monthly performance bonus based on store sales.
This is a genuine performance bonus, not a token incentive.
A successful manager consistently delivering strong store sales can realistically earn £40,000–£46,000+ per year.
The better your store performs, the more you earn.
Social Media & Local Marketing
Social media is an important part of the growth of Bliss Beds.
You don't need to be a professional content creator, but we're particularly interested in someone who is confident using and appearing on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
This could include:
- Appearing in short videos and Reels
- Demonstrating beds, mattresses and sofas
- Talking naturally about products and special offers
- Filming new products and promotions
- Creating simple showroom content
- Helping generate enquiries and store visits through social media
Being confident and natural on camera would be a major advantage.
Who We're Looking For
You don't necessarily need to already be a Store Manager.
We'd be interested in speaking to successful Store Managers, Assistant Managers, Deputy Managers, Sales Managers, Senior Sales Consultants or high-performing retail salespeople ready to progress into management.
Experience within furniture, beds, sofas, flooring, kitchens, electricals, automotive sales or another high-value retail environment would be particularly useful.
