Jack Reid Cars is a busy family-run used car dealership established in 1997. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Vehicle Valeter to join our preparation team.
We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and understands the standard required when preparing vehicles for customer collection and retail display.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Full interior and exterior vehicle valeting
- Preparing vehicles to a high retail standard
- Thorough cleaning of interiors, upholstery, plastics and trim
- Exterior washing, decontamination and finishing
- Correct application of valeting and detailing products
- Ensuring vehicles are presented to a consistently high standard before customer collection
- Identifying any issues or areas requiring further attention before a vehicle is signed off
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area
What We’re Looking For
Previous professional vehicle valeting or detailing experience is preferred.
More importantly, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Takes pride in the finished vehicle
- Can work efficiently without compromising quality
- Is reliable and works well as part of a team
- Understands the correct use of vehicle cleaning products and chemicals
- Can maintain a consistently high standard across a busy workload
- Holds a full UK driving licence
We prepare a large number of vehicles every month, so this is a busy role. However, quality is just as important to us as productivity. Every vehicle should be prepared to a standard that both the customer and our team are proud of.
