HGV Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver

About the Role
We looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver to join our team at our Heckmondwike location.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries and collections while providing a professional and reliable service.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections.
- Typically complete 6–14 drops per day, depending on the route.
- Complete delivery paperwork and handheld device updates accurately.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure goods are transported safely and securely.
- Provide excellent service at delivery and collection locations.
- Represent James Wilby professionally when dealing with customers.
- Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph and Working Time Regulations.
- Follow our health and safety policies and procedures.
- Take care of the vehicle and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable and professional approach to work.
- Good understanding of safe driving practices and vehicle checks.
Pay & Working Hours
Rates starting from £14.25 per hour
