Job Summary:
We are seeking a Transport Planner to oversee operations during day shifts from Thursday to Monday. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership skills and possess a strong IT background along with a history of logistics planning to ensure smooth operations.
28 Days holiday per year.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the planning and execution of routes and drivers
- Monitor and maintain efficient workflow
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve any operational issues
- Conduct regular inspections to guarantee quality standards are met
- Proficiency in IT systems and software
- Strong leadership skills to guide the night shift team effectively
- Knowledge of transport operations
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
- Computer literacy with the drive to learn new systems and processes
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
