Company Description
Monkfield Nutrition are one of the largest breeders of insects for commercial purposes, as well as suppliers of reptile livestock and consumables to the industry. We have a large diverse and friendly site in Mepal near Ely and need to strengthen our already strong teams with like-minded individuals who want to grow and develop with our business, we are therefore in need of Insect Farm Production Operatives.
The Role
Full & Part Time members of staff are required to work in a fast paced environment within our Insect production and Packing departments. Workers need to be flexible in their approach and able to work on their own initiative, and vitally be comfortable working with live insects.
Progression is available for the right candidates with additional responsibility and remuneration.
Working Hours
Available positions:
2 x Monday-Friday 08.00-17.00. These positions are working within the Production department, setting up the environments for the insect cultures and are physically demanding roles.
1 x Part time role (Sunday/Wednesday/Thursday) 08.00-17.00. This role is preparing the tubs that our insects are sent out in and is moderately physical.
