Weetons Leeds Road is our flagship Weetons store, a premium retail and dining destination on the outskirts of Harrogate. Featuring a stunninng home & gift hall (featuring Garden Trading), a high-quality produce food hall with bakery, delicatessen, chef-to-go range and butchers, a well established horticulture & garden offer as well as a delectable restaurant and cafes.

The Role
Either:
1 x 24 - 40hrs per week, alternating weekly between a 3 day week and a five day week (5 day week includes a full weekend then weekend off the following week)
OR
2 x part-time roles: 1 x 3 weekday days or 1 x weekends
Require: full clean driving license
Weetons Leeds Road is a busy retail site with a high volume of daily site operations across a variety of areas: i.e grounds maintenance, supporting delivery processing, delivering goods to customers and much more!. We are seeking a General Site & Warehouse Assistant who can support our team in the many facets required to run the site.
The role is dynamic and fast-paced, with a requirement for the successful candidate to have excellent attention to detail and communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about achieving excellent site standards, effective on-site operations and warehouse productivity and are ready to contribute to our success!
Responsibilities
- Daily site & grounds maintenance
- Support the processing and movement of incoming stock with care and consideration whilst assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries.
- Support the maintenance of warehouse standards: clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures.
- Support the Warehouse Manager to deliver against all required tasks and duties.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (forklift training will be provided if required)
- Delivery of goods to customers (MUST HAVE A FULL/CLEAN DRIVING LICENSE)
- Handle goods with care to prevent damage
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks when required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Be able to serve and assist customers as and when required (till training will be provided)
Skills:
- Full and clean driving license as customer deliveries by van will be part of the role
- Excellent communication skills
- Exemplary attention to detail and high standards
- Proficiency in loading and unloading procedures
- Certified forklift operator or willingness to obtain certification
- Mechanical aptitude to address equipment maintenance
- Exceptional customer service skills
