Kallar Lodge, owned by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, is a distinguished residential care home renowned for its relaxing and friendly atmosphere, ensuring our residents feel as comfortable and at home as possible. We specialise in providing exceptional care and support to adults over the age of 65, particularly those living with Dementia. Our facility boasts 43 spacious bedrooms across three floors, each equipped with an en-suite facility. Our large communal areas, including lounges, dining rooms, and the picturesque Lake Room, offer residents the opportunity to enjoy afternoon teas, engaging activities, and stunning views over the lake. Kallar Lodge is surrounded by beautiful gardens and features two internal courtyard areas, including a Bird Aviary. We are currently seeking a number of dedicated care staff to join our team. In this role, you will provide the highest standards of care to our residents and support the ongoing development of our services. You will play a crucial role in providing residential and end-of-life care to individuals who can no longer remain at home in the community. Your responsibilities will include supporting residents in their daily activities, encouraging participation in social events, and delivering care and companionship at its finest. Additionally, you will follow personalised care plans, assist with personal hygiene, nutritional intake, and offer social and emotional support.

As a Care Assistant at Kallar Lodge, you will play a vital role in helping older adults maintain their independence and exercise choice and control by delivering personalised care and support tailored to each resident's unique needs.
