We are looking to recruit 2 x part-time Clinical Administrators to join the Lung Cancer Screening Programme at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. These are 18.75 hours per week, 24-month fixed-term posts based at Frimley Park Hospital.
The Clinical Administrator will provide a high-quality, efficient and patient-centred administrative service, supporting the smooth delivery of the Lung Cancer Screening Programme. Working closely with clinicians, nurses and multidisciplinary teams, the post holder will ensure patients progress through the screening pathway in line with Trust standards and national cancer targets, delivering excellent customer service and effective pathway coordination.
The role includes managing appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, supporting waiting list management, responding to patient and clinician enquiries, and ensuring timely communication across services. The post holder will also contribute to service improvement by supporting new ways of working that enhance efficiency and the patient experience.
These two part-time posts have been designed to provide resilience, continuity of service and cross-cover, ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the department while maintaining a responsive and compassionate service for patients.
The post holder will work in the Clinical Admin team and be responsible for providing excellent customer service and contributing proactive information to support the waiting list team.
The post holder will assist with the day to day running of the waiting list supporting the Patient Pathway Co-ordinator.
The post holder will work closely with all clinical areas to support the Trust’s targets, i.e. referral to treatment and cancer targets.
The post holder will be involved in transforming current work practices to meet all Trust requirements.
To provide clinical administrative support to the Consultants and nursing team, ensuring that Trust standards are adhered to in relation to all documentation and data input concerning patients and treatment.
