Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director in a dynamic boutique tax advisory firm. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills and experience to contribute to the efficient operation of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the business owner's caseload, headline dashboard metrics and the company's billing and creditor control.
Responsibilities
- Managing the Managing Director’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements with precision and efficiency
- Handling correspondence via email, phone, and postal mail, maintaining professional communication standards and phone etiquette
- Organising and maintaining the business owners caseload and ensuring all key deadlines are achieved, maintaining all CRM updates.
- Preparing casefiles, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Controlling all company invoicing and creditor control, chasing all outstanding fees.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as required using Microsoft Office applications
- Assisting with general office administration including ordering supplies, coordinating meetings, and supporting team members as needed
- Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Supporting special projects or ad hoc duties to facilitate organisational goals
Qualifications
- Highly organised, adaptable and excellent people/communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Exceptional phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Fast typing ability to facilitate efficient correspondence and document preparation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a proactive approach to tasks

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
