We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest services, managing transactions accurately, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors. Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Handle cash, card payments, and other payment methods securely and responsibly
- Maintain a clean and organised cashier station at all times
- Assist with managing stock levels and restocking supplies as needed
- Support management in supervising team members during shifts when required
- Resolve guest queries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience
- Uphold health and safety standards in line with company policies
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or retail management is desirable, with supervising or leadership experience preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills to handle transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership qualities with an aptitude for supervising team members when necessary
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required
- A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences
Pay: £25,420.00-£54,421.21 per year
