The Role
Reporting to the SHE Manager, key responsibilities will include the following:
· Auditing and inspection of areas on site for SHE compliance, validation and continual improvement
· SHE accident and incident investigation
· Daily site visibility through walkabouts for hazard spotting and behavioural observations
· Assisting Facilities Support Officer (SHE team member on management of waste streams and data)
· Working collaboratively with other functions to ensure safety culture is promoted on site
· Managing relevant SHE data
· Targeting key safety topic areas on site in depth to validate compliance
· Working with our distribution and effluent treatment plant partners to ensure safe working ways, risk and impact reduction
About You
This role brings an exciting opportunity for the right individual, offering a career path and progression. Any candidate not holding a L5 or over will be expected to study and attain such a level over the next 3 years. Coaching and mentoring are available to achieve this
Experience of Environmental Management as well as Occupational Safety would be advantageous as the role is a 50/50 split.
