Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Coach & School Bus Drivers to join our team at our Heathrow depot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills,
Duties
- Operate the coach and minibus in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bus interior.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any delays.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid PCV driving licence and a current CPC and appropriate endorsements for operating a coach and minibus.
- Proven experience as a coach driver or in a similar role (e.g., van driver, delivery driver) is preferred. Take this out.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle. Take this out
- Excellent command of English with strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
