The Regional Manager is responsible for leading a team of Operations Managers across a designated region, ensuring the effective delivery of security services, achievement of financial and operational targets, client satisfaction, and compliance with company and industry standards. The role focuses on leadership, performance management, strategic planning, and business growth through the Operations Management team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Operations Managers.
- Create a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, and development planning with Operations Managers.
- Ensure succession planning and talent development across the region.
- Drive consistency in operational delivery and management practices.
Operational Oversight
- Provide strategic oversight of all client contracts within the region through Operations Managers.
- Ensure contractual obligations and service level agreements are achieved.
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs, management information, and client feedback.
- Support Operations Managers in resolving complex operational issues and major incidents.
- Ensure effective resource planning and workforce deployment.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain executive-level relationships with key clients.
- Attend strategic client review meetings.
- Support Operations Managers in managing client escalations and service improvements.
- Drive client retention and contract growth.
- Ensure exceptional levels of customer service throughout the region.
Financial Accountability
- Hold overall responsibility for regional financial performance.
- Monitor revenue, profitability, labour costs, and budget adherence.
- Review financial performance with Operations Managers and implement improvement plans where required.
- Support pricing strategies, bid submissions, and mobilisation of new contracts.
- Deliver agreed regional growth and margin targets.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure regional compliance with:
- SIA and ACS requirements.
- Health and Safety legislation.
- Employment legislation.
- Company policies and procedures.
- ISO and quality management standards.
- Review audit findings and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Business Development
- Identify opportunities for contract expansion and operational efficiencies.
- Work closely with Sales and Commercial teams to support new business opportunities.
- Participate in client presentations, tenders, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the security sector.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Regional profit and loss performance.

Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Extensive leadership experience within the UK security industry.
- Experience managing and developing Operations.
- Proven ability to manage large contract portfolios across multiple locations.
- Strong commercial and financial management skills.
- Sound understanding of SIA regulations, ACS standards, and employment legislation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willing to travel
