Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Peripetitic Operations Manager (VAWDASVS) to oversee and coordinate vital operations within our research and clinical environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards, and drive the success of complex scientific projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong supervisory skills, laboratory experience, and a passion for scientific research, all while maintaining a focus on operational efficiency and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations across multiple research sites, ensuring smooth coordination of activities.
- Oversee scientific and clinical research activities, ensuring adherence to protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to meet organizational goals efficiently.
- Lead and mentor teams of researchers, technicians, and support staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines, including VAWDASVS (Veterinary Accreditation for Welfare and Disease Surveillance Veterinary Services), maintaining rigorous documentation and audit readiness.
- Implement process improvements to enhance laboratory workflows, safety procedures, and overall operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align project objectives with organizational priorities.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in scientific or clinical research settings.
- Strong background in laboratory practices, experimental procedures, or clinical trial management.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Deep understanding of compliance management within regulated environments such as VAWDASVS standards.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
